A single surf lesson gives you a taste; a 7‑day surf camp transforms the way you move in the ocean. At our Essaouira Surf School we structure week-long camps so that each day builds on the last. The first two days focus on safety, pop-up technique and catching many white-water waves. Around day three or four we begin to look for small unbroken waves and practise angled take-offs. By the end of the week many students are trimming along clean faces and starting gentle turns.
Between sessions you stay in a local riad or surf house, eat Moroccan breakfasts and explore the medina. The rhythm becomes natural: wake, surf, eat, rest, wander, repeat. Because all sessions run in the morning, you always surf in the best conditions Essaouira can offer. It is an immersive way to learn and a simple way to live.
