Most days in Essaouira are gentle and fun, but we still train for the rare moments when something goes wrong. Our instructors refresh their first-aid qualifications regularly, practise board- and tube-based rescues in the bay and run scenario drills for rip currents and equipment failures. We also coordinate with official lifeguards and know how to call for help quickly if needed.
Students may never notice this invisible layer of preparation, and that is exactly how it should be. You are free to focus on waves and laughter while we quietly manage the risk in the background.
