Essaouira is one of the few places where you can realistically surf and kitesurf on the same day, almost every day in season. The ocean is calmest in the morning, ideal for surf lessons in the bay. After lunch the wind fills in and the kites appear. We work with trusted kite partners so that guests who wish can book both disciplines during their stay.
Surfing first gives you knowledge of waves, currents and timing; kitesurfing later adds power, speed and a new way to play with the same wind. Together they make you a much more complete water person and deepen your connection to Essaouira’s unique conditions.
